Fitting a bride who works in a historical museum, Katie and Nick had a thoughtfully curated wedding with details that unfolded as the night went on. The ceremony occurred in the bride’s hometown at a church she attended. After the ceremony, guests went to the reception venue, where they were welcomed into cocktail hour by two 14-foot-tall iron gates holding custom-made frosted acrylic seating charts. The wooden bar was a 360-degree circle with a bookshelf in the center with a tall floral arrangement. Dinner occurred under bespoke pergolas with copper chandeliers decorated with growing greenery. Details included black candles, assorted flower-filled vessels, and a custom-designed, printed dancefloor. After dinner, guests entered the ballroom, where they were serenaded by a professional Italian opera singer and a large band that kept the dance floor packed all night.
